Famed photographer Al Clayton, in the late 1980s, looked in the corners and on the fringes of our town and found some great Atlantans who made stunning photos. These photos are a collection known as Bum Raps, part of the Unseen Atlanta exhibit. The star of the show is a larger than life Joe, a sweet homeless man who when asked if he needed anything, simply replied, “Please pray for me”. All ticket proceeds benefit Clifton Sanctuary Ministries, which was home to Joe through the 1970s-80s.

Please come meet our Bum Raps and take a peek at Al’s photos of country music stars which were recently featured in Ken Burns’ PBS documentary, Country Music.

WE LOVE BU-HI AND CHAMBLEE!
